Statements are made that it's January in Boston, but the leaves on the trees in the surrounding areas, and the attire worn during the film, suggest very clearly that it's early fall.

In the opening scene football game, "Never say no" Joe drops back to pass from the 25 yard line, then decides to keep it and run with it.

As he begins to run to the end zone, he takes off from the 15 yard line.

The movie is stated to take place in January, but Joe and Peyton watch ESPN's coverage of the 2007 Subway 500, which was on Oct.

21st of that year.

When Peyton gives Joe the cookie in the car, the bites he takes out of it keep changing between shots.

The scene where the camera pans the stadium about 3/4 of the way through the film looks like a scale model with a fake background.

When Sanders catches the winning touchdown pass in the championship game there is clearly an opponent inside Sander's arm trying to knock the ball out.

In the next shot the nearest player is too far away to have done anything, and he would have been closer.

It looks like the same stadium is used for regular season games and the championship game, by the amount and location of wear on the field.

You would think that a championship game in Arizona would have better looking striping, etc.

than a regular season game near Boston.

When Joe comes back into the Championship game you see the side line marker stating its 3rd down.

He runs a play and the announcer says it is now 2nd down.

Before he does the commercial (when he has a lisp from an allergic reaction), the small logo for the team's name 'Boston' disappears for a shot, and then reappears.

Reviews

This movie was quite good. The Rock's best acting so far I think.

The second movie in what i like to call "The Ultimate Disney Films of the Noughties", or TUDFN (pronounced tudfin), The Game Plan follows football star Joe Kingman (Dwayne Johnson in the first of 4 Disney pictures starring himself), who has an ego as big as his Elvis fetish. One day, he finds that he has a daughter he never knew about, Peyton (Maddison Pettis), a result of the last time he fornicated with his ex-wife.

Joe Kingman (Dwayne Johnson) is big star quarterback, and unabashed bachelor. One day, little girl Peyton Kelly (Madison Pettis) comes and tells him that she's his daughter.

I love stories of brutes guys with cute little girls. This movie is this and more.

A man who is on top of the world,,, the Rock,, is a Quarterback in New England,, good at what he does, one of the best,, living the playboy lifestyle.. then one day a little girl shows up on his doorstep and claims to be his daughter,,, at first he thinks this is a joke or a Public Relations stunt,, at first he doesn't want anything to do with her because he realizes that his current lifestyle is a thing of the past if her accustations are true, and she really is his dad,, so they talk for awhile,, and through some interrogation,, he finds out that indeed she is his daughter from a previous daughter,, so he has to learn all about the daughter that he didn't know he had,, and he ends up teaching her football , and getting her on the local team..

So I watched this for the first time 13 years after it was released and I loved it. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me laugh some more and left me feeling wonderfully happy.

Es una comedia para reírise, aunque tambien tiene sus partes emotivas. Las cuales no te pueden hacer llorar, pero te quedas mudo, bueno eso es lo que me pasó a mí.

The Game Plan is adorable! I thought it told beautiful story of Joe (The Rock) meeting his daughter, Peyton, he never knew for the first time.

Well 12yrs later, I'm watching this again with my young daughters and I was blown away how much my family enjoyed watching this together.
