Reviews

It's all so hilarious, those goofy, quirky Corporate types that siphon Billions from the Rubes as they go merrily along as they fashion themselves Masters of the Universe. There is so much Money that keeping track of it all is futile at best.

Disappointing effort from Soderbergh, especially since, given the source material, it had a lot of potential. The story and script are solid - the plot twists and turns and often takes the viewer by surprise, and manages to slip in a statement about the incompetency of both government officials and business companies.

I was looking forward to The Informant I sometimes like Soderbergh movies. Even when they are off-beat there's usually something that appeals about them, but not here.

Fun and sad. Well played.

Matt Damon proves once again that he is the most versatile actor in Hollywood. I'm not sure any other actor can play a psycho in The Talented Mr.

This movie is pretty average all round. However, I have to give credit where it is due.

They had written "unbelievable" on the poster. And that's what this true story was.

As a senior executive for the food processing conglomerate known as Archer Daniels Midland, "Mark Whitaker" (Matt Damon) informs his boss "Mick Andreas" (Tom Papa) that a saboteur has deliberately disrupted the bio-chemical process of a special project which has resulted in the loss of $7 million in the last 3 months. To that effect, Whitaker then states that the source of his information is willing to provide the name of the mole-for a price of $10 million.

The Informant (2009): Dir: Steven Soderbergh / Cast: Matt Damon, Scott Bakula, Joel McHale, Melanie Lynskey, Ann Dowd: Provocative dark comedy about whistle blower Mark Whitacre and his association with the F.B.
