Anthony "Tony" Hale is an American actor, best known for his role in the Fox comedy series Arrested Development as the neurotic Buster Bluth. He is also known for playing Gary Walsh, the sycophantic personal aide to the Vice President of the United States on the HBO comedy Veep, for which he won the 2013 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.Tony graduated from Samford University in 1992, and got his first television role in 1995, and his first film role in 1999.

Tony and his wife, Martel Thompson , welcomed their first child, a girl, on 24 February 2006. Loy Ann Hale was born in Los Angeles and weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces.

He met his future wife, Martel Thompson , at a Bible study group in New York.
