Not only can you see the boom microphone, but can see it's shadow on the wall when Nadine talks to her boyfriend Harry, at the kitchen table.

Ever since I received my New York State driver's licence my weight began to increase. To this moment I've always had a pot belly.

Not of This Earth is watchable, but not memorable. The characters are decent, it's just our perspective's divided and the alien protagonist cold and emotionless.

This film is brought to us by Roger Corman, the master of the cheesy horror film. The movies he helps produce are generally full of blood and gore, monsters and some nudity.

Roger Corman directed this surprisingly good science fiction/horror picture that stars Paul Birch as a cold-hearted alien from a dying planet decimated by nuclear war. As a consequence, he and his race need blood to survive, and find plenty of it here on Earth.

Paul Birch shows up wearing big sunglasses and speaking in a monotone. He needs daily injections of blood, so he hypnotizes doctor F.

Watching THE BEAST WITH A MILLION EYES, one can't help but feel for the star, Paul Birch: he's given very little to do and he does very little with what he's given... The fact that the "beast" of the title looks like an old-fashioned coffee pot doesn't help.

Paul Johnson has spooky eyes which he hides behind thick dark glasses and kills people to obtain their blood. He turns out to be from Davana and his activities are pertinent to the preservation of his planet's population.

Yes, folks, it's a "vampire from outer space" story, nicely devised by Mark Hanna and frequent Corman collaborator Charles B. Griffith.

I first saw this film in 1959 as a 7 year old while on holiday in Ireland. I remember feeling very scared watching it.
