Actually quite good movie but "Based on True Events" in 1940? that the thing bothers me more than anything else in the entire movie is.
I could forgive the Saturday cable afternoon crap fest movie if there weren't so so so many historical inaccuracies. Ie the Germans having jet fighter planes.
Good acting, sharp writing, believable characters, and very well-paced movie in which the pluses easily outweigh the minuses. This may be low budget (the special effects make this obvious) but crucially, and unlike many movies with several times the budget, it gets the basics right.
Reason I give this 10 stars is because Asylum makes knockoffs and goof around, I get that, that's their business strategy. I am not sure if this movie is a knockoff or original, but this was the best film by them I have ever watched.
I have to say that I expected "less" going into this. But it was a cold day and gray outside.
And like someone else mentions, its not supposed to be historically correct as is referred to in the dialogue, where they state this history isn't the history that we know.Very wstchable.

Enroute to London from Dulles, International Airlines flight 42 flies thru a weather anomaly and find themselves over France where some kind of war is going on. Without any satellite communication almost all of the automated flight controls are gone.
Was definitely not this one. I was going to write a lengthy review pointing out all the things wrong with this movie but, I honestly don't want to bring up those awful memories that will haunt me for the rest of my life.
