After Earth

The trailer is just about the whole movie. The plot is poorly developed and the sub-plots are quite sparse with no details.

Please, please, what ever you do, avoid this massive waste of time. It has an utterly predictable plot, one or two good ideas, some reasonable effects but there is a massive problem with it: Jaden Smith has all the acting ability of a bookcase.

So what are we feeling while watching this? Are we despising it(?

I have to write this review with a heavy heart.. i have found will smith to be one of the most consistent actors over the years of making and being in films and then came this one..

I thought the movie was great..I'm sure all the bitchy full time, nonprofessional movie reviewers will disagree but opinions as like a**holes...

Widely regarded as a hit-and-miss director, M. Night Shyamalan's AFTER EARTH is a sci-fi film that is conceptually withstanding but tonally inept.

Directed by M. Night Shyamalan, "After Earth" stars Will and Jaden Smith as a father and son who find themselves stranded on an inhospitable jungle planet.

Not bad, at all! Jaden Smith's acting was a little patchy at first but, if you can get through the first 20 minutes, it turns into a decent SciFi action movie.

I'm one of will's faithful fans but seriously this movie is so bad in all it's main elements and especially in it's main plot , the movie is called after earth and the trailer projected that the bid dilemma of the main characters is that they are going to face EARTH (which there was a complete seen about warning of going there because it's not for man kind) i expected to see earth revenge from man kind after he destroyed it and left so it was necessary that jaden (and the viewers) would face a very challenging undetected and horrific revenge , but what did we see , some chasing with monkeys ,lions and a big eagle .. come on you can get this easily in any African country right now while you're enjoying your sun shine cocktail , i didn't see the damaged earth after hundred of years of isolation i didn't see it's ugly scary face , i saw a green shiny icy earth with lovely water falls that wouldn't harm any one ..
