The stop-motion animation is great and Patrick is a decent protagonist that's why I'm giving it a 2, but the writing so far is god-awful. It's full of unlikeable characters, unfunny mean-spirited jokes, and lazy writing (the ending with the king in episode 2 is lazy garbage and the sister of Patrick in episode 3 is just an unlikeable asshole).

When I started it I struggled to not shut it off because it was not enjoyable or humorous at all. I pushed through and at the end of the first episode I actually let out a chuckle.

Dark humor brought in a light manor. If you like south park, family guy, Rick and Morty, ect...

If allowed I would give it 1000 stars.... The episode about Guerrero Negro literally changed my life currently I live in San Diego but my plans in the near future include moving to Loreto BC.

"Crossing Swords" (Hulu, S01, 10 eps, 1/2hr) is like an amped-up Lego-version of "Robot Chicken" (Adult Swim), though each ep of the latter is comprised of short vignettes/skits which differs from Crossing's traditional A-story/B-story plot. That's going to be awesome for those aged 10-15 because though the topics are almost always TV-MA it's couched in the most juvenile, pre-teen terms, and that just doesn't work for me.

The first few episodes are basically "Medieval Robot Chicken" but it quickly finds its' own groove. It's a funny series with pretty interesting stories and a charm art style to boot.

So, just a short review here as I don't like to write too much if I didn't finish the season, as things might improve as the show runs on ( for the record, I do see reviews from other people for this that says it does). One and a half episodes though was enough for me to decide that I wasn't going to waste any more time on it.

Average, doesn't make me laugh much but if it's on I tend to finish it so can't be that bad.

I really don't like this show. The characters aren't really likable (except the ones that don't abuse Patrick) and the fact that it's mean spirited to Patrick are really creepy.
