In 2013, Alyssa tweeted to Shannen, Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan , whether they would do a Charmed reunion movie, since she would love to do it, Shannen responded that she would. Although no movie was ever made, it was the first sign that the two stars were willing to mend their rift. It would take another two years to fully mend their rift when, in 2015, Alyssa tweeted to Shannen (who was battling breast cancer): "Sending you love, light, and strength". In October 2016, Alyssa said that she continues to tweet or direct message Shannen once a week offering words of support and encouragement, and in turn, Shannen has been appreciative.
