Reviews

Zzzzzzzzzzz-- oh, sorry. What movie am I reviewing?

Interesting film. Bisset is a great actor and carries her part very well.

A very slow moving and somewhat provoking film about sexuality. The story has some interesting elements, but the movie clearly needed a better director for it to work well.

Some people see Carré Otis as lacking acting abilities. I don't.

This is a beautiful looking Movie with sumptuous colors and a lot of Fandango. Everyone is dressed to the 9 and 1/2's.

Emily Reed (Carré Otis) is a Midwestern girl hired into a law firm. Her boss Claudia Dennis (Jacqueline Bisset) brings her and her language skills to Rio to close a property deal.

Again, here's one of those erotic flicks set in Rio (one of the most beautiful cities in the world, an asset to it) about the awakenings and sexual discovery of a young, reserved and beautiful girl, and promising lawyer, played almost adequately by Otis. Rourke, wasted here, as a self made millionaire, has his own demons where at the end of it, you're so happy the two of these wound up together, by unleashing their inhibitions.

A Movie That Deserves More Credit Than What It Gets. Rourke's Performance As James Wheeler Is Mesmerizing.

The absence of story is the fundamental characteristic. than, the nudity of Carre Otis.
