My friend and I were into the romantic movie scene when growing up. So, we compiled a list of great romantic movies or rom coms to watch.

Filled with more cheese and sap than a full season of Days of our Lives, The Longest Ride wears its Hallmark like heart on its cowboy sleeve and never once tries to hide it but for a film that so easily could've been too mawkish to take, it ends up being a likable, watchable and most importantly smile inducing effort. As a word of warning, anyone that has found Nicholas Sparks adaptations like The Notebook, A Walk to Remember or Nights at Rodanthe unbearable then stay as far away as possible from Ride as like those films it features impossibly cute couples being in love like only novels and movies can portray and with this film you don't just get one love story, you get two.

I am really not a fan of this kind of movies. And honestly, I just see this movie just for Britt Robertson.

I was a good distraction watching that movie. Cinematography going over North Carolina beautiful scenery with green meadows and idyllic lakes was very impressive.

So: two beautiful leads, Alan Alda, scenery, very little art but still, a bit of schmalz here and there... It was better than expected.

This film is based on the best selling novel that was by Nicholas sparks. The longest ride is about two people that meet in the bull riding competition.

Bulls do play a part in this Movie but not as much as they are part of the script.Again, it's all about the American Dream, disguised as a love story this time (or maybe it's Always a love story as Chaplin sings in "The King of New York": When I Think of a million dollars, tears come to my Eyes.

This movie has incorporated 2 very memorable, emotional story's in an interesting way that I have not seen before in a movie. Throughout the entire movie, I was left thinking 'what is going to happen next?

Based on Nicholas Sparks romantic novel. We enter the world of rodeo riding, art appreciation and parallel love stories of people from disparate backgrounds.
