Biography

D. J. Barton began his career in the entertainment industry at age 11 when he began doing theater which he pursued through high school. After graduation he worked with several independent theater groups. After relocating to Charlotte, NC, D. J. took an active role in the sketch comedy troupe "This, That,and the Other" in 2000. It was there that he first met Director A.Blaine Miller. In 2001, Blaine invited D. J. to join the production crew of the independent film "The Last Confederate" as the script supervisor and continuity. During filming, D.J. met Kathryn A. Taylor who he - along with Blaine - would later collaborate with on the film "P.O.V. , where he also served as Casting Director. D. J. has become an active member of I.A.T.S.E. and has been on an rise as a Script Supervisor continuing to work on larger projects including Cinemax's "Banshee", and films for Twentieth Century Fox and Relativity Media.
