After being shipwrecked, a man finds himself on an island inhabited by tiny people, who soon make plans for him.Director: Jack Sher Writers: Arthur A.

I don't know if there is another adaptation of Jonathan Swift's classic which depicts Gulliver's second travel to Brobdingnag or not but at least we can watch a loosely depiction of that travel in this movie. As I know, most adaptations concentrate on the first travel (to Lilliput), and believe me, this has caused most people of the world to believe that Gulliver's first travel was his only travel!

Jack Sher directed this kid-friendly version of the famous novel by Jonathan Swift, which stars Kerwin Mathews as Dr. Gulliver, who hates being poor, so signs on a ship headed to India to make his fortune.

(IMO) - "The 3 Worlds Of Gulliver" was pretty terrible movie-making (on all counts) where the only way for me to get any real satisfaction out of watching it was to actually force myself to laugh out loud at the truly dismal, old-school visual effects. The way I see it - If you aren't an adult, then yes, perhaps this creaky, old relic from yesteryear may offer you some worthwhile moments of entertainment.

It's the adventures of Dr. Lemuel Gulliver.

In my senior year of high school, I took a class on children's literature and one of the books we were assigned to read was "Gulliver's Travels". At the time to me, it was very slow reading and I quickly lost interest.

The Three Worlds of Gulliver is produced out of Columbia Pictures and is directed by Jack Sher. It stars Kerwin Matthews as Lemuel Gulliver, June Thorburn as his fiancée Elizabeth, with support coming from Basil Sydney (The Emperor of Lilliput), Grégoire Aslan (King Brob), Mary Ellis (Queen), Charles Lloyd Pack (Prime Minister Makovan) & child actor Sherry Alberoni as Glumdalclitch.

Lemuel Gulliver (Kerwin Matthews) is a hardworking but not very wealthy doctor who wants to make a success of himself in order to provide for his betrothed, Elizabeth (played by the gorgeous June Thorburn, who sadly died way too young in a plane crash). Taking a position as a ship's physician, Gulliver hopes to earn enough money to pay for a cottage, but he doesn't realise that Elizabeth has stowed aboard the vessel to be with him.

The 3 Worlds Of Gulliver I first saw on the big screen, and in color, and later saw it a few times on television, but not for a quarter century or so. So, I had to rewatch the 100 minute film.
