Goofs

The German soldier gets pushed into the cage with the She-Demons.

The impact forces the cage gate open, he is then attacked by the She-Demons with the gate still open.

The camera cuts away and then back to the cage and now the gate is closed even though his body is in the same position.

He is in the way of the swing of the gate, so it couldn't have closed.

Macklin and the German guard are fighting in the laboratory.

The fight has several sequences in which there are stunt doubles.

The problem is that both stunt doubles hair doesn't even come close to matching who they are portraying.

Their hair is sandy blond instead of brown.

Macklin is threatening the Doctor in the laboratory.

The Doctor then says, "You're in no position.

", and a guard has suddenly appeared at the back of the lab.

This happens between shots.

During the fight in the lab between Igor and Maklin, Igor tries to stab Maklin with the torch but runs into the wall, and the stone wall moves.

The underground lab has a window into the jungle.

Col.

Osler says the temperature of the molten lava is over 65,000 degrees.

Molten lava on the surface is 1200-2200 degrees and even at the earth's core the estimate is not much more than 10,000.

When the woman is whipped to death by the Nazi, she is topless.

A boat is lost in a hurricane and 4 people scramble onto the beach of an unchartered island. The leader of the group is a young man named "Fred Maklin" (Tod Griffin) who not only has to figure out how to keep the group alive but also has his hands full with a beautiful but spoiled blonde by the name of "Jerrie Turner" (Irish McCalla).

You'll feel sorry for the heavily bandaged Leni Tana in this interesting mix of post-war intrigued and subtle horror set on a mysterious tropical island where Nazi officer Rudolph Anders resides doing experiments on women to try to restore wife Tana's face. Unfortunately for the self centered Irish McCalla, she's Anders' last hope in getting the right ingredients for his devoted but horribly scarred wife.

Richard E. Cunha made few good low budget B movies.

My younger sister Lori was to star in a play called "Damn Yankees" but yours truly came down with a stomach flu and missed her performance. Stayed home alone and put on Channel Eleven's Chiller and watched four shipwrecked people stranded on an Island somewhere in the Caribbean.

I noticed before watching "She Demons" that the film has an overall score of 4.3 on IMDb.

1957's "She Demons" marked the the second in a quartet of infamous horror titles from resident Astor Pictures director Richard E. Cunha, boasting an increased budget of $65,000 to complete a double bill with his debut "Giant from the Unknown.

This low budget horror attempt ( the teeth of the she-demons is the kind you get out of bubble gum machines ) is never the less entertaining because of its campiness and bad acting .The stunt doubles are about a foot shorter in height and have different hair color , and the so called Nazi guards are as sadistic as school teachers but its all good fun .

"She Demons" (1958) just might give Ed Wood's "Plan 9 from Outer Space" (1956) a run for its money as worst movie of all time--although in the final analysis "Plan 9" is more fun. "She Demons" tells the story of a rich girl and her two male helpers stranded on a supposedly deserted island.

Four folks are shipwrecked on a tropical island run by a bonkers ex-Nazi colonel who is experimenting on women in the hope that he can restore the beauty of his badly disfigured wife. Tod Griffin, Irish McCalla and Rudolph Anders are the principals in this, frankly, preposterous sci-fi yarn that is quite a long struggle to get through.
