The concept is kind of interesting, but the script is horrible. It's full of long winded soliloquies by Boris, pontificating on this or that and they will put you to sleep.

Boris Karloff(at the low-point of his brilliant career) plays Victor Von Frankenstein, last-surviving descendant of the original Baron Frankenstein(though NOT connected to the Universal Studios series Karloff had starred in!) who, because of financial necessity, allows a film crew to make a movie of his ancestors in his castle the money he receives he plans to use to create a new monster, this time by using atomic energy generated by his own reactor.

WILLIAM HENRY PRATT had a long and highly prolific career in both the Legitimate Theatre, as well as in Film. His was an immense talent, which was somewhat under-appreciated for his successes in the Horror Film Genre.

Would you not think the commentary should have some vague relationship to the movie, well not here. You can hear all about their friends and friends of friends.

It seems that right now Warner Brothers (which now owns this movie) is in no hurry to release "Frankenstein 1970" on DVD. After watching it, it becomes painfully clear, even though the movie boasts horror legend Boris Karloff in its cast.

Lesser Boris Karloff horror picture, notable for being the first time he played an actual member of the Frankenstein family. In his earlier (better) Frankenstein movies, he played either the monster or a non-Frankenstein scientist.

This is one of the scariest movies of all time. 4.

I FIRST SAW THIS MOVIE IN 1958 WHEN I WAS 10 ATA LOCAL THEATER, THE OPENING SCENE SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME I REMEMBER THIS BECAUSE I DROPPED MY SODA AND POPCORN. I GAVE IT A 7 IT WAS ENTERTAINING.
