Goofs

Mr Quimby cuts the burrs out of Ramona's hair, creating several short layers on top.

At Beezus and Hobart's wedding, which was planned in three days, Ramona's hair is back to all one long length.

At the wedding Mr Quimby also mentions the phone call from Mrs Meacham was "a couple days ago," so enough time has not passed for Ramona's hair to grow back out.

In the scene where Beezus and Hobart are dropping Ramona off at school, a piece of Aunt Bea's hair is sticking out to the side.

The camera turns to Ramona and when it comes back to Beezus, her hair is smoothed down.

In the next shot of Aunt Bea, it is again sticking out.

Just before Hobart proposes to Bea, he shows her a box full of old memorabilia that had been buried for years.

The box is a Converse sneaker box of a newer sort with an attached lid.

In the time frame the lost box was first buried, it would most likely have been different, with a detachable lid.

When Beezus is upset because she just spit all over Harry after drinking a lemonade with a fly in it, Beezus is on stomach on her bed upset.

She looks at Ramona and she has hoop earrings in, then the camera goes to Ramona, and back at Beezus and she doesn't have the earrings on anymore.

When Ramona and Howie wash Hobart's car, watery soap pours down the windows.

At one point when the camera is on Hobart, however, there is no water on the windows or dashboard.

When Ramona and Susan are talking in the music room, Ramona's top button goes from done to undone and back and forth a few more times.

By the end of the conversation it has been undone for a few shots in a row, but when she gets up and goes to the window it is done again.

When Ramona is in music Class, Her buttons on her shirt keep changing from done to undone.

When Beezus and Uncle Hobart Drop, Ramona off for the royal peanut butter auditions, She unbuckles her seat belt.

But, then after the camera shows aunt Bea and uncle Hobart, Her seat belt is back on.

While Susan is giving her class report she is wearing a purple outfit.

However, while Ramona is giving her class report, Susan's outfit is white and yellow.

Reviews

A really cute, completely harmless, and often amusing family movie. I wish less of the story was focused on the adult characters (the Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Duhamel storyline almost put me to sleep) and more time was spent with the adorable Ramona (Joey King, who absolutely steals the movie) and the charming Beezus (Selena Gomez, who hopefully has a great movie career ahead of her), but honestly, there's not much about Ramona and Beezus that I didn't like.

This family comedy is based on the recent economic downturn and is about how a little girl and her family cope with the bread winner being laid off. It's fun to see the effects of the financial crisis from a child's point of view with the little fantasy clips.

Ramona Quimby (Joey King) lives in a typical middle class neighborhood on the west coast. Her family consists of Father Robert (John Corbett), Mother Dorothy (Bridget Moynahan), big Sister Beatrice, er, Beezus (Selena Gomez) and a new baby sister.

It was a perfect watch on a Sunday noon, lazying in my couch.Takes you back to your childhood days.

This is one of my favourite movies. It's adorable in every way and most importantly it left me and my kids inspired to just enjoy life and appreciate the small magic all around us every day.

Ramona Quimby (Joey King) is a young girl with a wild imagination. Her big sister Beezus (Selena Gomez) is eternally embarrassed by her along with other things in her life.

It's not a great movie by any standard yet I love it, so much I rewatch it every couple years, and I always have the same reaction and emotions. Joey King is so cute and adorable.

Joey King is such a delight throughout, so is Selena Gomez and John Corbett! Almost a major milestone this is my 590th review, decent choice I'd say.

When i was younger i liked Beverly Cleary's 'Mouse on a Motorcycle' better. but i was a dedicated reader of Ramona the pesty little sister, and of the everyday situations faced by Beezus and Henry Huggins.
