Younger sister of Courtney Peldon.
Parents are Jeffrey Peldon (attorney) and Wendy Peldon (college professor).
At the age of six, she became the youngest person ever to be nominated for a Daytime Emmy award.
In 1988, she joined the cast of "The Guiding Light" (1952) and audiences responded to her so well that she became the youngest performer to be put under contract in daytime television. She was four years old.

Graduated with a bachelors degree in Child Psychology and Film from Skidmore College in 2007.
(February 2009) Starring in the new web series "Marissa Rules" as Marissa. Series is written and directed by Emmy-nominated Ellen Sandler.
(January 2007) Just completed filming the movie Float . In preproduction on her next film. Launched her own perfume business, "Starring...! Fragrances".

(January 2008) Directing an Allan Heinberg play for "TV Takes the Stage". All profits go to the Motion Picture & Television Fund to aid non-writing members of the community who have been financially affected by the WGA strike. The play stars Bonnie Somerville and Melissa Sagemiller.
