Goofs

The position of the coach's headset cord alternates between hanging straight down and hanging over the microphone when he is talking with his assistant coach.

When the principal walks out of the library, he has toilet paper hanging from his pants which is absent in several subsequent shots.

The band in the background of the prom dance sequence are playing/not playing at inappropriate times in the music.

When The Wise Janitor is sitting on the bench with Jake, the zipper on his raincoat moves up and down between scenes.

When Jake is talking with Reggie Ray in front of the lockers, he pulls the lock up on his locker.

In the next shot, from Reggie Ray's view, he pulls the lock up again and then opens his locker.

After the Marty flashback when Coach picks Jake up for a backbreaker, Jake is facing him.

In the next shot Jake is facing away from him.

When the girl with the glasses is talking to her dad, the ace of Spades in his hat changes between being straight and being on an angle in his hat between shots.

When Katherine is giving Janie her "make-over", she is close to Janie's face.

When they switch to a shot of Janie, Katherine is much farther away from her as she takes off Janie's glasses.

Then they switch back to the original shot.

When the girl with the glasses was painting, she had paint all over her overalls and hands.

When she entered the principal's office, the paint stains on her overalls and hands were all gone.

In the beginning of the movie, when Janey's grandparents walk into her room, she gasps, but her lips don't move.

When the two boys are both after the girl, one of them runs across the street, then he dodges through cars.

When one of the cars stop, the car in the left hand corner of the screen seems to be a face of a Chevorlet Metro.

But when that car stops and beeps its horn, its horn is off audio.

Chevy Metros have a high pitched horn.

Chevy Metros don't have a regular car horn audio.

The door to the hotel room where Jake finds Austin and Priscilla is on an interior corridor, but the scene inside the room shows a draped window on the same wall as the door.

When the movie starts, Janey is about to use her vibrator.

when it is first seen the dial is all the way up on the vibrator.

The camera moves when it comes back Janey pushes the dial is down and she pushes it up to turn it on.

Reflection in the mirror on the wall in studio still image 3.

Janey recalls Christmas of 1989 by saying that "'Daniel Day-Lewis' (qv) won the Best Actor award for _My Left FootThe Story of Christy Brown (1989)_ (qv)", when in fact the ceremony took place months later.

The plot is based around glaring lapses of logic for the sake of humor.

Football season and the senior prom (which is attended by freshmen, no less) impossibly happen in the same week, the football games are carried out with no regard for rules or logic, and a reference to Spring Break further scrambles the chronology.

This is all deliberately included by the filmmakers, for fun.

When Principal Vernon first comes into the library, the toilet seat cover isn't hanging out of the back of his pants.

When he exits, the cover suddenly appears.

When Janey falls through the stairs, it is obviously a stunt double who has well developed arm muscles.

During prom night, when they have a "big" ending to the dance, Janey ends with her left foot forward but when it zooms out, Janey's right foot is forward.

Varying from scene to scene that includes the character of Malik, between theatrical and deleted footage, his hair changes inconsistently in length and style.

Reviews

A parody of the all time greatest romcom teen movies, with stellar cameos and all around bad storyline and dialogue. It's so bad it's almost good.

While there have been countless atrocious spoof movies released over the years, this parody of themes and clichés from '80s and '90s teen flicks like 'She's All That,' 'The Breakfast Club,' and 'American Pie' is one of those rare few that are actually genuinely funny. It did a good job of stitching many iconic scenes from countless teen movies into one cohesive (and actually quite enjoyable) story.

Not Another Teen Movie (2001): Dir: Joel Gallen / Cast: Chyler Leigh, Chris Evans, Jamie Pressly, Mia Kirshner, Randy Quaid: As Scary Movie satired horror film clichés, here is an attack on teen film conventions and the results are every bit as vulgar but less promising. Title seems to voice the frustration of those who sat through Boys and Girls and She's All That.

Very BAD ! From the worst movies I ever saw.

Remember watching all the movies they mock in this! Back with the boys, staying over getting baked and watching films like this!

This film is pretty much a YA film parody. It is severely lacking in a good storyline, the characters were lacking depth and there was not enough focus on main characters.

Being reviewer number 389, I guess there is not much left for me to add. Whatever ...

This film is to its genre and comedy more largely as essential as the films it makes fun of or references throughout its playtime. The jokes are actually funny, the caricatures, the dialog, the concepts...
