Samm Levine's first breakout role was as a member of the "geek" half of the short lived cult hit, _"Freaks and Geeks" , since its inception in 2009 - a role he came into after his interview as a guest on the first episode.

His character in Inglourious Basterds was originally one of the primary members of the Basterds. However, his role was cut down considerably in the final edit, and he (somewhat famously) disappears before the end.
