It seems like everyone wants to make a vampire movie and most get it badly wrong. This is more wrong than most.

Eternity is the most apt movie title possible: the movie is so painful it feels like it is never going to end. In fact the the movie is so bad that it actually causes a certain amount of discomfort that renders the viewer susceptible to some form of post traumatic stress that lingers for days.

Well, I know I am no movie critic, so this review is meant to reach the average Joe. Well, I can say one thing: I couldn't watch this movie till the end, despite its promising plot at the beginning.

As a film, I found "Eternity", or "Chuafa Dinsalai", to be a good piece of storytelling, with several angles to praise. As a hidden political manifesto, this film is as shameless and self-righteous as those in Thailand who resist democratic changes at the point of destroying it today.

Oh my lawd! This must be one of the most unwatchable movies I have ever suffered through .....

Eternity is a film by the rising director Mark Reyes, who directed Moments of Love, Mulawin: The Movie and the excellent Encantadia; it stars two of the Philippine's love-teams from Philippine's number one television network: GMA 7, Dingdong Dantes and Iza Calzado, Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras; and is written by Gina Marissa Tagasa-Gil, released through Regal Films. The film has a unique storyline: a mix between The Count of Monte Cristo and Romeo and Juliet.

The three stars are for Elliot Travers and Dean Knowsley who saved this movie. If the movie had been a two-hander, it would have been much better.

This is a 55 minute docudrama told in black and white noir style imagery of homeless Sydneysider Arthur Stace. His mission in a life of wandering Sydney in the 40s50s60s was to write the word Eternity in florid chalky script on the footpaths of the city.

I was told Jon was for awhile on spiritual experiences. I guessed the film will be interesting.
