Father of Katina Zinner.

He worked as a taxi driver and piano player in theaters, before landing a job as an apprentice film editor at 20th Century Fox in the early 1940s.

His family was Jewish and fled the Nazis in Austria, moving to the Philippines. He moved to Los Angeles in 1940.

Oscar winning film editor who did sound affects editing at Universal from 1947 to 1949 and music editing at MGM from 1949 to 1960.
