French actor
Bushy-browed French-born character actor, who appeared on Broadway in Anthony and Cleopatra and subsequently moved on to supporting roles in films and TV.
He was cast to play the role of Wishbone in the Western television series Rawhide, and he appeared in the shows pilot episode, "Incident at Barker Springs." After the pilot was picked up by CBS, Carricart was replaced by Paul Brinegar. Carricarts scenes were cut from the episode and re-filmed with Brinegar, which resulted in the pilot episode becoming the seventh episode aired.
