The movie just spins along with so many surprises in the plot, it really keeps you on the edge of your seat guessing where it will go. Of course the cloying plotline where the boy and the pretty girl attempt to tame and befriend the caveman is hard to believe, since he remains loyal to his base aggressiveness which they can magically stall from evil deeds.
