Despite being a lover of Christmas, that is not to say that every Hallmark Christmas film is great. A fair share of them are watchable enough but there are average and less ones about, still watch them out of curiosity and also because of them being part of a completest quest.
People are trying to apply logic to this film, but much like Father Christmas himself it's probably not best to.Instead enjoy a better than average Hallmark film with regular player Alicia Witt in the lead role.

So far i failed all my Christmas time : All along December month, i would like to decorate my home, have a advent calendar, share sweets with my friends, write greetings cards, read moving stories about this holiday and watch the best movies about it near a warm fire and sipping infusion!
I really did enjoy this movie but I yelled at it for the first half of it. She needed rent money so she took this job (a man's job) wearing a Santa suit disguise.
The presence of Alicia Witt and Wallace Shawn lift this film above the ordinary. Alicia is such a delight to watch in the role of a single mother without a job who is trying to remain positive and trying to give her daughter a happy Christmas experience.
Alicia Witt does a lot of these Christmas movies, and she's one of my wife's favorites in them. There's a good reason.
