Pop R&B singer and actress. Born February 11, 1981 in Atlanta,GA. Began her career as one third of the R&B group Destiny's Child. Her first solo LP was released in 2002 entitled "Simply Deep". Rowland enjoyed massive worldwide success alongside rapper Nelly on the track "Dilemma" which topped the charts in numerous regions. Due to her success as a solo artist, Columbia granted her the chance to produce another solo album which was released in 2007. She gathered further success by leaving the States and doing a venture with electro-pop producer David Guetta.
Joined Destinys Child in 1992 to make the quartet of the original Destinys Child girls: Letoya Luckett , LaTavia Roberson , Kelendria Rowland & Beyonc.
No longer lives with fellow band member, Beyonc. Has her own house in Sugar Land, Texas.
Released her 1st solo album "Simply Deep" on October 22, 2002. It went gold in the United States; debuted at #1 when released in the United Kingdom; and peaked at number 5 and was certified gold in Australia.
Kelly did a duet with rapper Nelly , Dilemma, which went to number one in the global chart and also number one in UK and Australia.
She has had two solo top five single enteries, Stole and Cant Nobody, when they were released in the UK.
May 10, 2004 - Engaged to Pro Bowl Safety Roy Williams of the Dallas Cowboys, who played for the Oklahoma Sooners. However, Williams and Rowland respectively broke the engagement off in 2006.
Her first single, "Stole," was certified platinum and peaked at number 2 in Australia.

(June 13th 2005) She and the other members of Destinys Child announced that they will disband after their tour ends in the fall.

(December 2005) Kelly is currently recording her sophomore album, due to be released April 06, and has shot three episodes for the hit UPN show, "Girlfriends" .
(May 9, 2014) Married her boyfriend of 3 years Tim Witherspoon following a 5-month-long engagement.
Gave birth to her 1st child at age 33, a son Titan Jewell Witherspoon on November 4, 2014 at 1:30 pm and weighed 7.5 lbs. Childs father is her husband, Tim Witherspoon.
