In her younger days, she spent some time in show choir. Fans got a glimpse of her singing talent when sang a short piece from "A Chorus Line" in Fringes Season 2 musical episode "Brown Betty." It made such a splash, Fringe fans started a petition asking Fox and the producers of GLEE to book Jasika as a guest star.
