On May 22, 2017, she performed to a sell-out concert at the 21,000-capacity Manchester Arena in England. After the concert, as people were leaving, a radical Islamic terrorist detonated a bomb in the foyer which killed 22 people and injured 59, making it the worst terrorist attack in the UK since 2005 and the worst ever in the north of England. Grande canceled the remaining shows on her "Dangerous Woman" tour through to June 5, 2017 and returned home to Florida. She resumed the Dangerous Woman Tour on June 7, 2017.
On 27 May 2017, Grande announced that she was organising a benefit concert in aid of the victims of the Manchester attack. This took place on 4 June 2017 at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
