Biography

Zoie Palmer is an English-Canadian actress, born in Camborne, Cornwall, England, to parents of Irish and British descent. She earned her B.F.A. at York University in Toronto, Canada, in 2001; and has since been featured in a variety of film and television projects, including the critically acclaimed _The Reagans . In 2014, Palmer received the "Fan Choice Award for Favourite Canadian Screen Star" by the Canadian Screen Awards.

At the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards, she officially came out as a lesbian by thanking "my incredible partner Alex [Lalonde] and beautiful son Luca." Alex Lalonde is a female Canadian film producer.
