Zelie Dember-Slack, an independent filmmaker that resides in Southern California, has just completed her first feature film, The Sweetest Heir. In May 2017, she graduated from Chapman University's M.F.A. in Film Production Program with an Emphasis in Editing. She also earned her AVID Certification. In her first semester, Slack received the prestigious Myrtle May Award. In her second year, she successfully completed an internship at MarVista Entertainment where she worked in both the Development and Post Production Departments.
