Biography

Born in Miami in 1969, Yvette D. Bennett is the youngest of two children. Her father was in the Air Force which caused the family to move quite often. This gave Yvette the opportunity to meet many people and live in many different places which helped to spark her creative side. She began writing stories and telling people what to do at a very young age. It's no wonder she has chosen to be a writer/director. Yvette returned to south Florida as she entered junior high school. Her dream as a child was to become a doctor, singer, or to work in the entertainment industry in some fashion. As a BFA Graduate and previous Media Society President at American Intercontinental University, Atlanta Georgia, Yvette is already making her mark in the film industry by being involved in a combination of over fifty short films, commercials, reality shows, and sports segments as a writer, producer and director. Yvette is fortunate enough to have worked with many industry professionals and celebrities that have assisted in honing her craft. She has written two short films for Studio 11 Films and is currently working on two web series with Kiss The Limit Productions; both based in Atlanta, Georgia. Yvette is currently employed as a free lance "Asset Coordinator" for Universal Pictures in Universal City, California. This is only the beginning of Yvette's dreams coming into fruition. She feels that these experiences and opportunities will help catapult her even closer towards achieving everything she has dreamed and sets out to accomplish; Making heart felt, entertaining, inspirational and quality movies that everyone will enjoy.
