German skier and entrepreneur
Adopted two Brazilian children with his wife Sonia: Bernhard and Florinda. Bernhard died tragically after visiting the Munich Beer Festival on 1 October 2005.
Successful skier in the late 1950s. He was ski cameraman in On Her Majestys Secret Service and supervised the ski sequences in The Spy Who Loved Me . Later, he directed several movies about skiing.
Took over his father`s sportswear company and still equips the German national skiing team.
