Biography

Wayne Shorter was born on August 25, 1933 in Newark, New Jersey, USA. He is known for his work on _Wayne Shorter: Zero Gravity . Considered the greatest living jazz composer, he is a recipient of more than 10 Grammy Awards, a Lifetime Achievement Grammy, four honorary doctorate degrees and many other awards and honors for his contributions to music. Wayne also serves as a professor of music at the Herb Alpert School of Music at UCLA.
