Walter Merlin Jones (not to be confused with Walt J from Detroit on Dow Records) has been composing music since 1977, and editing mixes since 1983. He has worked with various artists with their music for the past 25 years. When he started recording his own music, he released his first record in 2003. He has been on various labels such as DFA, Westbound, Supersoul, Cisco/Stevier, HAKT, Permanent Vacation, Under the Shade, ect

Is missing the middle finger on his left hand

Was originally supposed to be in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie but due to a contract dispute with Haim Saban he left the series and was later replaced by Johnny Yong Bosch.

A large rotund man in the category of Roscoe Arbuckle, Jones enjoyed much success on the Broadway stage. He was already famous and successful when he started appearing in silent pictures. His large overweight frame probably contributed to his relatively early death at 48.

Requested cremation with his ashes to be thrown in Gravesend Bay, as were his daughters nine years earlier.
