In September 2002 candidate of Milosevics Socialist Party of Serbia (left oriented) for Serbian president. His party chief, Slobodan Milosevic , from International War Crimes Tribunal (ICTY) in the Hague, supported the candidate from another party, diametrically opposite oriented (nationalists, far right).
On August 1993, he received Life Achievement Award "Slavica" for his roles in Yugoslav cinematography.
