From the 1950s onwards, she often played motherly figures in films and (increasingly) on television. She also provided the German voice for Lucille Ball. Ursula died of a stroke during a theatrical tour of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof".

When she had a private argument with Reichspropagandaminster Joseph Goebbels she got a working prohibition and wasnt able to take part in movies between 1939 and 1944. Therefore she concentrated to the theater again.

During a tour with the play "Die Katze auf dem heissen Blechdach" ( Cat on a Hot Tin Roof) she died of a stroke.
