Biography

Tyler Murree is a 20 year veteran of the stage and screen. He received his training at the prestigious school of Drama at Queen's University. His broad range has seen him play everything from Shakespearean kings to nerdy math teachers and everything in between. He made his Broadway debut in the 2014 Revival of the hit musical "Les Misérables", traveled North American with the touring production of Disney's "The Lion King" and played numerous characters in the epic World Premiere Production of "The Lord of the Rings: The Musical" in Toronto. On the big screen he stars as low life drug pusher, Bill Anderson in the award winning Indie thriller, "Generation Wolf" as well as multiple Nickelodeon sitcoms and has had guest roles in adult dramas and comedies alike.

Major Batman fan. Collects the Animated and live action Batman films.

Graduated from Queens University (Kingston, ON) with a B.A. (concentration Drama).

Acting Coach and acting in (Mr. Bennett) in YTV/Teen Nicks production of "Life With Boys".

Made Broadway debut in Les Misrables as an ensemble member and understudy for Thnardier and Grantaire.

Shared an apartment in Toronto with fellow Queens grads Kristian Bruun and Alastair Forbes.

On summer break from Queens University a made for TV movie, Salem Witch Trials was being filmed near his parents home. Tyler submitted himself to the Background casting director and was cast. Two weeks into the exteriors shoot, he was asked by the producers of the film to be the personal assistant to Peter Ustinov. He has stated that his time with Ustinov was one of the most incredible learning experiences of his life.
