Trivia

Step-mother of Romy Schneider.

Mother, with Wolf Albach-Retty , of daughter Sacha Darwin.

Curly-locked Austrian leading lady of the 1930s, daughter of a prominent landowner. She was an important star with Ufa during the 1930s, billed as "the German Jean Harlow", though, for the most part she was rather the Viennese equivalent of the girl next door, engaging and uncomplicated. From 1941 to 1945, Trude was an ensemble member of the Vienna Burgtheater. Her film work diminished after the war, but she reemerged in the 1970s and 80s as a popular performer with the "Kleinen Komdie" in Vienna (of which she was co-founder).

Twin sister of Cecilia Brantley.

The actress Trude Marlen appeared on different stages after her acting education by Lori Weiser and took part in a whole string of movies from 1933.

Instead of movies she impersonated many roles on stages. She played among others at the Burgtheater in Vienna and belong to the foundation members of the Kleine Komdie in Vienna.
