Travis Mills was born in Quito, Ecuador. He spent the majority of his early life abroad in Europe and Africa. He lived many years in the Comoros Islands before returning to the United States. In the U.S., he settled in Arizona where he pursued storytelling through writing and filmmaking. His short stories have been published many times in print and online. He co-founded Running Wild Films in 2010 with Gus Edwards and is devoted to developing a stronger cinema in Arizona.
