In the period of 1971-1985, before pursuing an acting career,Tony was a popular lounge singer in the Catskill , NY and Pocano Pa. resort areas.In 1971 he appeared on "The Tonight Show" hosted by Johnny Carson and was a frequent guest locally in NYC on "The Joe Franklin Show".
He has appeared in six films directed by Woody Allen : Bullets Over Broadway , Mighty Aphrodite , Deconstructing Harry , Celebrity , Sweet and Lowdown and Small Time Crooks .
