Had four children.

Father, with Debrah Farentino , of daughter Molly Adams, born in 1991.

Was a founding board member of the world relief organization Operation USA, a charity that has won many accolades, most notably a share of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize for its part in the International Campaign To Ban Landmines and the 1983 Presidents Volunteer Action Award, which Mr. Adams accepted from President Ronald Reagan on behalf of the charity. He traveled extensively with the group and was among the first assembly of Westerners back into Cambodia after the reign of terror by the Khmer Rouge , where he delivered medicines and photographed victims of the Khmer Rouge which were published worldwide.

Got his start in film business as director John Boorman s personal assistant on the film Deliverance. The pictures star, Burt Reynolds , heard that Adams wanted to stay in the U.S. and offered him a job on his Florida ranch. Reynolds also facilitated an introduction to Blake Edwards.

At the time of his death death, was a senior managing member of Hello Entertainment, a theatre producing company actively developing and producing Off-Broadway and Broadway shows.

His funeral was held on October 25, 2005 at Holy Name of Jesus Church in New York City.

In 1985, he gave the eulogy in memory of his former "Crossroads" co-star Noele Gordon in St Philips Cathedral, Birmingham.

Former footballer who played his entire career for Arsenal (1983-2002), playing over 500 games for The Gunners in which he won a large collection of honours including the English First Division/Premiership (1989, 1991, 1998, 2002), the FA Cup (1993, 1998, 2002), the League Cup (1987, 1993) and the European Cup Winners Cup. The centre-back won 66 caps and scored 5 goals for England at international level between 1987-2000, and captained both his club and his country.

He was awarded the MBE in the 1999 Queens Birthday Honors List for his services to Association Football.
