Mastering engineer. Started his career at Frankford/Wayne Recording Labs in 1978 where he worked with dance and R&B throughout the 1980s. In 1989 he moved to The Hit Factory, where he established himself as an expert in hiphop and R&B. In 1994 he was hired to Sterling Sound which he bought with his associates in 1998. Today he is one of the biggest names mastering Hiphop, R&B and Pop music.
First ever presenter on ITVs Tyne Tees Television in North East England in 1959. He has also worked for the BBC.
He attended Kean College where he received a degree in Commercial Design.
Graduated from Roselle Catholic High School in 1972.
Earned a total of 18 Grammy Award nominations, six Grammy Awards--including back-to-back Album Of The Year wins for Taylor Swift s "1989" and Adele s "25"--and a Latin Grammy Award for Marc Anthony s Record Of The Year-winning "Vivir Mi Vida.".
