Biography

Tim McKay was born in Salem, Massachussetts. He then moved to Windsor, Connecticut, where he attended high school. His father is an attorney and his mother, a school administrator. Two weeks before he was scheduled to attend Roger Williams University, in Rhode Island, he decided to move out to California.

Summer 2002, Tim was the campaign manager for N.C. Secretary of State Elaine Marshall. She was running for U.S. Senate. She was defeated in the primary.

In the Pictures of the Year publication entitled Photojournalism 3, published by Newsweek in 1978, Tim had a picture published on page 141. At the time he was the staff photographer at the Shelby Daily News in Shelby, North Carolina.

He has a brother named James
