Born Helen Luella Koford on January 7, 1929, the Los Angeles, California, native worked as a model before she made her film debut at age 11 in 20th Century-Fox's _Maryland .
After Howard Hughes died, she claimed that the pair had secretly married on a yacht in international waters off the coast of Mexico in 1949 and never divorced. Despite the fact that Moore married two other men while she was still "married" to Hughes, his estate paid her an undisclosed settlement in 1984.

Also in attendance were his children, Tyrone Power Jr. , Taryn Power and Romina Power , and other actors who worked with him, including Coleen Gray , Piper Laurie and Jayne Meadows.
