Sulejman Kapic graduated at the Economy School of Zagreb University, where he would earn the master's degree. His work in the movie industry began in 1956 when he became commercial manager of Jadran Film, the biggest movie company in former Yugoslavia. Four years later he began representing all former Yugoslav movie companies in Munich where he brokered important co-production deals with foreign partners. In 1969 Sulejman Kapic became CEO of Jadran Film and remained at the helm of that company till 1991. During that period Jadran Film he made a multitude of important and influential movies, as well as lucrative foreign co-productions. Sulejman Kapic retired in 1991.
