Biography

Stuart J. Prowse was born in 1975 in Edgware, North London. Always a shy boy acting was something he avoided like the plague while growing up. It wasn't until he hit 30 in 2005 that the acting bug took its first bite. With life experience in dead end and unfulfilling jobs. he only played a solider in that, but he was chuffed to bits to be involved. So he kept applying and kept landing other roles. However his career was short lived. he couldn't commit to the film world fully back then, what with a pregnant partner and bills to pay he had no choice but to return to the day job. After only a handful roles he gave up the dream. Fast forward to 2010. The recession had hit the building trade hard and Stuart was one of many casualties, however unlike many people in the trade. It wasn't all he knew, and it wasn't all he wanted to be. The acting bug bit again, and this time he was going to commit 100% and take it as far he could possibly take it. The dedication is paying off. As of 2011 he now has various roles under his belt. It may be a struggle to stay afloat with non paid acting jobs, but the experiences and the contacts made are making it all worthwhile. With an agent secured and a show reel finally coming together. Stuart's career can only go up from here.
