Biography

Emmy nominated TV animation, live-action and film writer. Steven Darancette has been writing and producing movies since he was a young boy. Co-writer on "Bleak Future," the 1996 shoestring budgeted sci-fi flick. The staff of "Ain't It Cool News" gave Bleak Future a terrific review when it first landed distribution in 1997 on Screen Edge films in the UK. As a TV animation writer his 2002 episode of the OZZY & DRIX cartoon series "A Growing Cell" which aired on Kids WB early in fall of 2003, was selected by the CDC as part of a partnership with KIDS WB to help encourage children to live a more active and healthy lifestyle. He has written TV animation in various genres including boys action, comedy and preschool.
