Played one of the female teen "rebels" from the classic movie Rebel Without a Cause .
Studied at the Actors Lab in Los Angeles.
Later retired and worked as a production assistant and TV commercial producer and, with husband Rick Splaver, formed a public relations agency.
One of three cast members of the film Rebel Without a Cause to have died within the first six months of 2010. She was followed by cast mates Corey Allen and Dennis Hopper a few months after her passing.
