American lyricist and songwriter. Born: 14 August 1907 in New York City, New York, USA. Died: 27 January 1994 in Long Island, New York, USA (aged 86). He was the president of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) between 1953 and 1956, and again from 1959 until 1980.
Appeared in the first episode of The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis and appeared in the last episode of Gilligans Island that both starred Bob Denver.
