Biography

Beautiful, spirited and personable redhead actress Sondra Currie greatly enlivened a handful of delightfully down'n'dirty drive-in exploitation features made in the early to mid-70s. Born in Los Angeles, Sondra is the daughter of 40s movie actress 'Marie Harmon' in 1989. They formed a production company called "Lumina Pictures and Entertainment LTD", which produces features and mini-series. Currie and Levi have also produced several plays that include 1987's "The Chesterfield Woman". Sondra and Alan are on the Board of the California Independent Film Festival and have been jury members for the past nine years. They were honored to be invited to be Jurors of the First International Indie Film Festival in Sapporo, Japan, where Currie was the only woman on the panel. Moreover, she is a member of such organizations as Women in Film, Women in Theatre and EMA. Sondra also is a member of SHARE, a charity devoted to helping abused, developmentally disabled children and kids with AIDS. In addition, Currie is a founding member of The Theatre Group, a 140-member Los Angeles-based theater company which presents work at both the Beverly Hills Playhouse and the Skylight Theatre. Sondra Currie is an avid photographer in her spare time.
