Biography

Seth Shulman is an award winning director, editor, writer & cinematographer who has worked in film and television production for the last 15 years. He began film making at an early age. His skills were challenged further in high school under the guidance of Oscar nominated Writer/Produce/Director, David Massey. Attending David's class for the last two years of school would shape his understanding of film. In 2007, Seth began working with Joey Travolta's Inclusion Films, a production company that instructs adults with disabilities on all aspects of film making. His versatility and reliability helped the company's rapid growth. In 2011 he produced & directed the award winning documentary film adaptation of Michael C. Cooney's memoir, "Walking in my Sleep", a vivid poetic telling of Michael's experiences growing up with Cerebral Palsy. In 2014 he filmed Joey Travolta's feature length documentary, "Lights, Camera, Independence". The film follows six individuals who get the job experience of a lifetime when they are hired as crew and travel across the country to work at Joey's summer film camps. Their skills as film students and adults with developmental disabilities are tested in a series of events that ask the question, "What does it mean to be independent?". From developing a concert video series to shooting & editing everything from music videos, PSAs, infomercials, TV pilots and narrative films, Puzzled Pictures strives to make any production look as best as it possibly can. Original, thought provoking, and entertaining.
