Selina Grace Barker was born in the small city of Lexington, Kentucky. As a young girl, she and her friends would use her step father's camcorder to put together short, silly films for play and her interest in filmography sparked at a very early age. Though she spent most of her life traveling back and forth from Kentucky to southern Mexico, she didn't wait a second longer after graduating high school to move out to New York to attend school for film to become an aspiring director and filmmaker. Once she graduated that, she grasped the opportunity to fly across to the coast to Los Angeles to pursue further interest and understanding in cinematography and the world of filmmaking.
